Isle of Man Squash Association
On the Island, Squash continues to thrive, with more than 200 registered senior players, 200 junior players, numerous social players and, on a volunteer basis, more than 30 accredited coaches giving their time and effort for a sport they love.
Squash has been a sport included since the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Malaysia and has since been named as one of the 10 'core' sports of the Commonwealth Gamess that makes its inclusion in the program automatic.
Competitions throughout the season comprise of 20 teams competing in three Mixed Divisions and five senior tournaments, and multiple age group tournaments which are played during the season at different levels.
The senior Island team competes off-Island and represents in Division 3 of the European Squash Championships. Our players regularly play in England Tournaments at junior and senior level with a very strong representation on Merseyside roll of champions.
Squash continues to concentrate its plan on activities including the the Manx Youth Games, senior and junior competitions, coaching and teams to represent the Isle of Man at all levels up to and including the Commonwealth Games.
