Countdown to Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games

Isle of Man Triathlon Association

Manx triathlon club

Triathlon was a demonstration event in the 1990 Games in Auckland, New Zealand, at which the Island was represented by founder members of the Island's Triathlon Club.

Triathlon was first granted Commonwealth Games Sport Status in 2002, but with Delhi’s non-inclusion of the sport, there have only been two Commonwealth Games Triathlon events; Manchester and Victoria.

The Islands' Triathletes have taken part in many World and European Triathlon Championships at age group level, and to date only Andrew Nash has represented Team Isle of Man at Glasgow 2014 Games.
