Isle of Man Amateur Boxing

Isle of Man Amateur Boxing is made up of two clubs. The Manx ABC is based in Douglas at the Golden Glove Gym in castle drive Douglas (Next to the Castle Mona Hotel).

The Viking ABC is situated in the North of the Island they have recently moved to a new gym in Jurby.

IOM Boxing has nominated Daniel Roberts for the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune. Daniel is East Lancashire Cumbria and the Isle of Man ABA 2008 junior 66kg champion.

The Isle of Man sent a six man team to Denmark in March to compete in the Copenhagen box cup and they returned with three gold medals and three Silver Medals. The three gold medallists where Daniel Roberts 65kg open junior, Krystian Borucki 81kg open senior, Lee Ashton 75 kg junior novice.

The three silver medallists where Cassi Lace 60 kg female Novice, Eddie Rennie 57kg Schoolboy, Connor Askin 52kg School boy.
All boxers where selected from the Manx ABC.
