Friday’s events showed further impressive results during the 2008 Pune Games. Once again, Olympic skeet shooter Daniel Shacklock was in brilliant form during the shooting competition. In the last 2 rounds of a further 25 clay targets, Shacklock shot rounds of 23 and 21 missing only 6 targets out of 50. This left Daniel in joint 5th position with a score of 111 – qualifying for the final later that afternoon.
The final was a further 25 clay targets for the 6 competitors. Daniel scored 20 out of 25 leaving him in danger drawing with two other competitors for fourth position. The result of this led to a shoot off with Daniel pulling through and gaining +1 which left him with the 5th final position.
All three swimming athletes had their final races. In both Grant's 50m Backstroke and Olivia's 200m Butterfly Games Records were set with Grant coming 15th and Olivia 10th overall.
Olivia and Heather's final race of the Pune Games was a great success with them coming first and second respectively in their heat. However, there appeared to be super fast swimmers in the other heats preventing them getting into the finals.
