The Commonwealth Games is the biggest international multi support event where the Isle of Man is allowed to compete as an independent state.  With a population of just over 80,000, the Isle of Man has an impressive medal tally over the years of three Gold, one Silver and six Bronze, with the most recent being Bronze in shooting and Bronze in cycling at the Delhi 2010 games. Furthermore, at the IV Commonwealth Youth Games 2011 on the Island saw our first Youth Games medals in Swimming with Grant Halsall winning two silver and a bronze medal.
