President - Basil Bielich

Basil Bielich joined the Board in 2017 as President of the CGA of the Isle of Man. He has been involved with several charities, associations and sports clubs and is the Chair of the Manx Solidarity Fund. A keen sportsman, he is a passionate football, cricket and rugby supporter, and is a member of Ramsey Golf Club.

Chef de Mission – Erica Bellhouse

Erica has been Secretary-General for the CGA of the Isle of Man since 2019 and will continue in the role until the 2022 Games in Birmingham.

For many years, Erica has played a key role within the Manx sporting community. Her involvement with cycling, Gymnastics and the Isle of Man Swimming Club has helped drive the success of Manx athletes within these sports.

Within cycling, for over 10 years she has been instrumental in organising the highly successful Isle of Man Youth Tour.

General Team Manager – Graeme Hatcher

Three-time Commonwealth Games athlete Graeme Hatcher has more than 25 years’ experience within cycling, both as a competitor and administrator. Between 2002 and 2010, he represented the Isle of Man in cycling at the Commonwealth Games, alongside Commonwealth Gold medallist Mark Cavendish and Olympic gold medallist Peter Kennaugh.  Graeme also took on the role as Sport Team Manager for the Island’s cycling teams which competed at Glasgow 2014 and the Gold Coast in 2018.

Micky Swindale - Vice President

A keen sportswoman herself, Micky is also a well-known figure within the Isle of Man’s business community as a partner at KPMG and part of the leadership team for the KPMG Islands Group, spanning a sub-region which includes the Crown Dependencies, Malta, Bermuda and the Caribbean.

Micky has been a champion for inclusion and diversity, particularly gender diversity and it is the opportunity to help to drive diversity in sports that particularly attracted her to get involved with the CGA.
